We have been very busy the past couple of months…..loving every moment of this challenging task, stretching our skills and abilities to the limit. Indeed a fantastic learning opportunity.
We were tasked by an amazing client with the migration of the rubybox website from a Magento platform to WordPress with a WooCommerce online shop. This site is truly interactive and has a very active community.
Here are just a couple of the highlights of this project:
- Migration of 110k+ users, orders, products and blog posts.
- Custom user profiles and migration of customer profiles from the old Magento system.
- Setup and development of a custom marketing system using MailPoet and Gravity Forms.
- Sanitizing of email addresses using DataValidation and setting up of mailing lists of 70k+ subscribers.
- Online magazine with thousands of comments by registered users.
- Online shop with the migration of thousands of product reviews.
- Reviews functionality extended with the WooCommerce Product Reviews Pro system, enabling rich snippets to display the reviews in Google searches with star ratings as displayed below.
