We have found Riaan Coertzen to be a marvellous website designer. From the very first meeting we felt confident that he would be able to realise our website in the way we envisaged it. The end result has shown our confidence in his abilities to not have been misplaced.
Regular meetings with Riaan plus additional unscheduled meetings that we requested were all met by him in a professional and punctual manner. He had always prepared thoughtful answers and ranges of possible solutions to any queries that we set from previous meetings. This enabled us to explore and discuss further options for our website in a calm and methodical manner, which was so reassuring as we moved along the pathway to our ambitious end goal.
Riaan certainly has the technical knowhow to convert sometimes vague ideas into reality. In doing this we often felt that he went beyond his remit, which we appreciated. As important to us were his communication skills, and patience. He was honest and lucid in explaining possible pitfalls, and possible solutions around our design ideas. We knew that the end decision was always ours to make, but, always knew Riaan had briefed us well.
This project was a first – an online costume rental business for the film industry – and the logistics held many challenges, all of which Riaan calmly solved. We commend Riaan Coertzen, and without hesitation recommend him to anyone thinking of employing him as a website designer.
