We prefer a specific process for the design and development of your website or any other service we can provide you with. The explanation below will guide you in this regard.

INITIAL MEETING TO DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS

We belief in personal contact with our clients. Please give us a chance to meet you to discuss your needs. This will help to foster the business relationship. We belief all our clients should be treated as individuals with their own specific needs and requirements.

This meeting will help us to form a picture of the website or database you have in mind. If you can supply us with a site map or brief it will expedite the quotation and development process.

FINANCIAL PROPOSAL

We do a full and proper assessment of the extent of the work to be done before we will supply you with a formal quotation. This will prevent any surprises when you receive our invoice.

WEB DESIGN

Firstly we will do a Photoshop "look and feel" @R250-00 per hour. This normally takes around 5 hours to complete. We will then supply you with an image for approval before we continue with the HTML part.

HTML AND CSS

After the look and feel has been approved we start with the HTML development. The 1st HTML page will be done within 4 hours @ R250-00 per hour. Each additional HTML page @R500-00 (2 hours per page).

We are also masters in Dreamweaver template design and application. This facilitates the easy and speedy management of larger websites.

DATABASE DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION

Database design and development @R350-00 per hour. We will do a proper MySQL database design, engineered for the functionality you require. This is our main area of expertise. All development done is modular in nature. Additional elements can be added at a later stage as needed.

A website with a database will provide your site with the following dynamic functionalities:

• User registration.
• Account activation security (to avoid unsolicited use by third parties).
• Secure login.
• Dynamic forms for data capturing.
• Dynamic display of selected content from the database.
• Uploading of content such as images and files.
• Administrative functionality – add, edit, delete and print information and content.

WEBSITE MAINTENANCE

Our fee for website maintenance is R250-00 per hour, or part thereof. This does not include the design or development of any new pages or database functionalities. These requirements will be quoted on separately. A monthly retainer fee, covering a certain amount of work to be done, can also be agreed upon.

DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATIONS AND HOSTING

We can arrange the domain name registration for you. A .co.za @R50-00 per year. We can also arrange a .com / .net at a slightly more expensive fee (per year).

Hosting services vary depending on the size and functionality required. The following options serve as a guideline:

Option 1: Hosting for a normal brochure ware website (without database) @R39 per month and a R49 initial setup fee:

• 2 domain emails
• 3 email alias
• 20 Mb mail quota
• 10 Mb web space
• 500 Mb web traffic
• 2 Fax2maiL
• unlimited subdomains

Option 2: Hosting for a dynamic website (with PHP coding and MySQL database) @R155 per month and R145 initial setup fee:

• 10 domain emails
• 10 email alias
• 100 Mb mail quota
• 200 Mb web space
• 1.5 Gb web traffic
• 10 Fax2maiL
• Distribution list (20 email)
• Unlimited subdomains
